This partnership needs to be told in order. Because in this story, the partner came long before the partnership.
When Étienne and Tymothy took over Blackout, they listened to one podcast on repeat. It's called Le Déclic, hosted by Alec Henry since 2017, and each episode tells the turning point of an entrepreneur. They listen to it in the car, in the workshop, between appointments. It's not passive consumption: a good part of what would be put in place to make Blackout what it is today came from there, or from the ecosystem Alec built around it.
In 2024, they take another step. Blackout becomes a client of Entrepreneurs.com, the structure Alec founded in 2020 that now supports thousands of French-speaking leaders. We write it plainly: to continue to grow, we chose to be supported. You can make tourbillons and still have a lot to learn about running a business.
It was during this mentorship that the relationship changed nature.
Behind the entrepreneur, we discover someone driven by immense ambition: to enable as many leaders as possible to achieve what they have in mind. Phrased like that, it sounds like a brochure tagline. When you work with him, you understand that it's simply what occupies him from morning till night. We have the same flaw.
So, when the idea of a collaboration came up, the model presented itself: the XP1 Tourbillon Red, in the colors of Entrepreneurs.com.
There's something special about seeing someone you admired from afar, whose work helped build what we've become, now count among the brand's partners. That's not planned. It's earned, over several years.
