Terms of service
Article 1 – Introduction
The following transactions are governed by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale: all orders for products (the “Products”) placed by an individual, hereinafter referred to as “you” or the “customer”, with Double Down Sàrl, hereinafter referred to as “DD,” “we,” or “our,” a limited liability company registered in the commercial register with its headquarters at Rue de la Cité 29, 1204 Geneva, Switzerland, via the internet.

Before using the DD website (www.blackout-watches.com) and its associated pages (the “Site”) and/or placing an order, we invite you to carefully read all provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, as well as the Privacy Policy, Site Terms of Use, and any other applicable provisions that may appear on the Site in connection with promotions or special campaigns.
Each order placed with DD via the Site is governed by these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. Unless stated otherwise, these terms apply exclusively, excluding any other conditions.
Our General Terms and Conditions of Sale may be modified at any time. The version in effect at the time of your order is the one that applies, unless a modification is required by law or a governmental authority.
Any order placed on the Site may be delivered to Switzerland, a member state of the European Union, or any other country where our carriers can deliver. Unfortunately, we are unable to ship to other locations.
Article 2 – Orders
2.1. Order Conditions
The Products available for sale on the Site are exclusively reserved for individuals who are of legal age and have full legal capacity.
Persons under 18 years old or whose civil rights are restricted due to a protective measure may only purchase Productswith the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal representative.
2.2. User Credentials and Confidentiality
Upon registering on the Site, you will receive a unique username and password (the “Credentials”).
You are responsible for maintaining their confidentiality and security. Any successful login using your Credentials will be considered as an action taken by you personally, regardless of whether it was performed by you or a third party.
If your Credentials are stolen or misused, you must immediately contact DD using the contact details available on the Site.
If DD detects suspicious activity on your account, we reserve the right to suspend its use immediately.
2.3. Ordering Process
You can place an order directly on the Site by following these steps:
- Select your Products and click on “Add to Cart.”
- Proceed to the order confirmation page, where you can review your order, select a delivery method, and check the total amount.
- Choose to pick up your order in-store (if applicable).
- Accept the General Terms and Conditions of Sale.
- Proceed with payment to finalize your order.
DD reserves the right to refuse, delete, or cancel any order for a legitimate reason. For example, we may refuse an order if a Product becomes unavailable after your purchase. In such cases, you will be notified and fully refunded.
We may also refuse an order in case of a previous payment dispute or if we suspect a fraudulent transaction.
2.4. Pricing
Product prices are displayed in Swiss francs (CHF), euros (€), or US dollars ($) and include all applicable taxes, except for customs duties or foreign taxes for non-EU and non-Swiss countries.
DD reserves the right to modify its prices, but any changes will not apply to already confirmed orders.
2.5. Payment
Payment can be made using the following methods:
- Credit Card (Visa, MasterCard, etc.)
- PayPal
- Bank Transfer
- Financing via Alma or Heylight
For Alma or Heylight financing, a financing contract must be established between you and the financing partner. DD is not a party to this contract and cannot be held responsible for any loans granted.
No order will be shipped until full payment has been confirmed.
Article 3 – Delivery
3.1. Delivery Methods
All confirmed orders will be delivered to the address provided during checkout or made available for in-store pickup.
DD strives to ship Products within two (2) business days after payment is confirmed.
For in-store pickup, your Products will be available within one week after payment confirmation. You will receive an email confirmation when your order is ready.
3.2. Transfer of Risk
DD retains ownership of the Products until full payment is received.
The risk of loss or damage is transferred:
- Upon handing the package to the carrier for delivery.
- At the time of in-store pickup, when you collect your Products.
3.3. Product Inspection Upon Delivery
You must inspect the Products upon receipt.
If any defects or missing items are detected, report them immediately to the carrier and contact our customer servicewithin 2 days after delivery at info@blackout-watches.com.
Article 4 – Returns and Warranty
4.1. Right of Withdrawal
You may return a Product within 30 days of receiving it, provided that it is unused, in perfect condition, and in its original packaging.
Return shipping costs are your responsibility, unless otherwise required by law.
How to request a return:
Send an email to info@blackout-watches.com with the following details:
- Full Name
- Address
- Order Number
- Products concerned
- Order date and receipt date
DD will process refunds for the Product price and shipping costs (with proof) within 7 days after receiving the returned item.
4.2. Warranty
Products are covered by a 3-year warranty, unless a more favorable legal provision applies.
The warranty does not cover:
- Accidents, mishandling, or negligence
- Unauthorized modifications
- Normal wear and tear
If a covered defect is found, DD will repair, replace, or partially refund the Product, depending on the case.
Article 5 – Liability
DD cannot be held responsible for indirect damages related to the use of its Products.
All Products are intended for personal use only, not for commercial purposes.
Article 6 – Force Majeure
DD will not be liable for delays or non-delivery caused by unforeseen events, including but not limited to:
- Strikes
- Natural disasters
- Wars or conflicts
Article 7 – Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are governed by Swiss law.
Any dispute will be settled by the courts of Geneva, Switzerland.
